Assam Forest Service by APSC has released an official notification. It consists of 50 vacancies for Forest Ranger Posts. The last day to apply online for the post is 20th July 2025 and last day to pay the fees is on 22nd July 2025. The candidates who wish to apply for the post should be a permanent resident of Assam. Some of the candidates will be trained in the field of forestry as per the norms of the Govt. of India. The pay scale will be around 22 to 97 thousand rupees.

- The candidate must be permanent resident of Assam.
- They are required to have either of the following to confirm their residency:
- An educational purpose valid PRC (Permanent Resident Certificate) issued in Assam.
- A clear Employment exchange registration certificate of Assam.
- Employees of the State Government of Assam will not be required to provide the domicile proof but will have to provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) by the employing authority of the individual.
